France may not be a gigantic country but it has wonderful beaches that you cannot miss. The country has two main areas of water: the one bathed by the Atlantic Ocean and the part of the Mediterranean Sea. These miles of beaches are filled with charming little towns and large, bustling cities. Below you have a small list of some of the beaches that you should not miss on your vacation in France:

– Saint Jean de Luz
The best thing about this beach is its location. From the small town you will be able to access Spain in a few minutes and easily. You will find shops, markets and cafes in the town that will allow you to rest after a long day at the beach.
Villefranche-sur-Mer
– Villefranche sur Mer
A few minutes from Nice, this beach is very quiet thanks to the fact that not too many tourists go. You will find a few shops and cafes from which you can see the mansions that are in the area.

– La Grande Motte
This beach will allow you to enjoy a lot of water activities, although if you prefer you can also hire an excursion to get to know the area better, which is full of beautiful natural landscapes. It is within walking distance of the Languedoc capital of the city of Montpellier. It is perfect to carry the little ones with lacquers.
Montpellier
– Cap Ferret
This wonderful peninsula, near Bordeaux, will allow you to relax during your holidays. You can simply dedicate yourself to sunbathing or fishing in peace. Most of the hotels are two-star, but there are a couple of luxury camps that you will love.
