Crane Beach, a beautiful beach

Crane Beach is located on the southern coast of the island of Barbados , between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. In the past it was a port and its name is due to a crane placed at the top of one of the breakwaters that dominates the coastline and which was used for the loading and unloading of ships.

This beach is only six minutes from the airport and half an hour from Bridgetown , it is an incredible place that will be waiting for you when you visit Barbados. On one of the breakwaters we find the Crane Resort & Residences , where there are two paths that lead to the beach and there is ample parking. To access the sand you will have to descend some impressive cliffs and when you arrive what you will see is a beautiful beach of white (sometimes pink) and soft sand where the waters move as the wind blows, ideal for surfing and bodyboarding. Walking along this beach produces an unforgettable feeling for being surrounded by unspoiled nature.

But Crane Beach is famous for the color of its waters , sometimes blue, sometimes blue and turquoise. The coast has no depth, but as we move forward it becomes deeper but we never stop feeling it under our feet since there are no corals, no stones or sea urchins that prevent us from enjoying the wonderful waters.
