Mijas is a town that is located in Malaga , on the Costa del Sol , and it is a typical Andalusian town with narrow streets, white houses and a pine forest that give it a special charm. The best time of year to visit it is, obviously, summer, but in winter you can enjoy the same as in summer and, even if it rains a little, you can see everything much greener than normal. It is located about 30 kilometers from Malaga capital, and very close to other municipalities of great interest on the Costa del Sol such as Torremolinos , Fuengirola or Marbella .

Mijas offers you beautiful views of the coast since it is almost 400 meters above sea level. There you can take a ride on the famous donkey-taxi and also visit several of its places of maximum interest. It is a very famous place for its crafts and for the good taste of its many restaurants, where you can eat the typical fish and accompany it with an Andalusian wine.
