If you decide to take a trip to the United States, and specifically to Massachusetts , you must make a must-see visit to the internationally known Harvard University . This year, a study has revealed that it has been the University that has managed to "produce" the most billionaire students.

Harvard is the oldest institution of higher education in the United States . It was founded in 1636 and owes its name to the university’s first benefactor, the young minister John Harvard of Charlestown, who on his death (in 1638) left his library and half of his estate to the institution. Harvard University consists of a total of 11 principal academic units: ten faculties and the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study.

The University has grown by leaps and bounds, enrolling 20,000 students . With 62 of its alumni now billionaires, Harvard tops Forbes’ list of "Billionaire Universities," followed by Stanford which boasts 28 billionaire graduates. The number of Harvard alumni who are billionaires jumped to 62, up from 54 in 2009.

Some of these wealthy students include: Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, and media mogul Sumner Redstone. Stanford University came in second. His alumni include: Yahoo co-founder Jerry Yang and Google founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page. This is the list of Universities that have produced the highest number of billionaires:
