Located in Cyprus , Lemesos stretches along the southern coast. It is the successor to two city-states and the scene of an important royal wedding in the Middle Ages.

Cyprus Medieval Museum-Lemesos Medieval Fort

Built in the 14th century. It is located in an old Byzantine castle. It was here that according to tradition, Ricardo Corazón de León married Berengaria de Navarra and she was crowned Queen of England in 1191.
