Maui that offers everything to the most demanding travelers; from encounters with submarines on a day at sea to long walks illuminated by lunar rays. Maui has a lot to offer and today we are going to explain some itineraries that you can do if you decide to visit this beautiful place.
West Maui beach day
To the west you will find some of the most beautiful beaches in the city, although some are becoming private due to the purchase of some mega-resorts. At Matadero beach you can snorkel. If you decide to visit more beaches, don’t forget Lahaina, where you can also explore the historic city that is located there.
Haleakala National Park
If you prefer to go hiking, don’t miss this park. Get up early and go out first thing in the morning. Don’t forget to bring water, sunscreen, and warm clothing. On your way up the mountain, turn right onto Makawao Avenue , and you will see a small town named after the avenue: Makawao. You can eat there and if you also want to do some shopping head to Baldwin Avenue in Paia which has a large number of shops to explore. You can spend the day in this small town and enjoy its most famous beach, Hookipa.
The road to Hana
This cliff will show you the most exuberant and tropical Maui. It will take you a full day to explore this part of the north coast, especially if you make your way all the way to Oheo Gulch . You can spend the night in the beautiful city of Hana.
