The climate is semi-continentalized oceanic since it is located far from the coast, far from the Mediterranean. Rainfall is usually abundant (not as much as in London obviously), with an average of 636 mm per year. They are distributed equally throughout the four seasons of the year.
When it comes to temperatures, they are quite mild throughout the year. In summer it can sometimes exceed 30ºC and sometimes also 35ºC. Storms are very frequent in this season.
Winter can be quite cold with average temperatures of 5ºC. The rains usually predominate over the snowfalls.
Lastly, spring and fall are mild and leave plenty of rainy days.

Getting around Paris is a real joy thanks to the brilliant public transport network that operates in the city. The roads are kept in very good condition, the subway and commuter trains are connected and there are many bus routes to get around the city at low cost. As if that were not enough, the city has two of the most important airports in the world: Charles de Gaulle Airport (the second largest in Europe and located northeast of the city) and Paris-Orly Airport.

Culture and art emanate from the streets of Paris. This city has seen the birth of great figures such as René Descartes, Voltaire, Victor Hugo, Émile Zola, Alexandre Dumas Jr., Edgar Degas, Claude Monet, Jean-Paul Sartre, Jean Renoir, Louis Malle or Henri Cartier Bresson. In addition, artistic movements such as Surrealism , Fauvism or Expressionism were created there, which are perfectly reflected in museums such as the Louvre.

Paris is also a very cosmopolitan city. White French coexist with black French. One fact proves it: half of those under 15 years of age who reside in Paris have foreign ancestry. Most are from the Maghreb and other French colonies in sub-Saharan Africa.
