The Peace Bridge or Bridge of Peace will no longer be what it used to be. The bridge that connects Canada and the United States will now be greener than ever thanks to the 700 built-in LED lights. The cities of Buffalo, New York and Fort Erie , through their governments, have decided on this investment that has cost around 1.2 million dollars .
The final look is spectacular. You can see up to 3 different colors that are combined in various animations very pleasant to the eye. So, on special days like Saint Patrick, colors will be played more than usual to celebrate whatever is needed.
These lights are low consumption and very resistant to the harsh weather conditions that occur in this area. In addition, they require less maintenance and provide more security to the inhabitants by being more illuminated at night.
The bridge is no small feat, as it was inaugurated in 1927 and is 1,768 meters long .
