– The best architecture: Helsinki
The capital of the Baltic is full of the best Scandinavian charm, with a touch of the most exciting Russia. A mix of neo-classical elegance and great modern wonders, make its architecture impressive. Much of the architectural landscape is influenced by one of Finland’s most famous sons, the internationally acclaimed architect Alvar Aalto. Not to be missed: the Lutheran Cathedral (Senate Square), Opera House, Helsinki Rautatieasema Train Station and the so-called "golden onion" dome of Uspenski Cathedral.

A trip to the city will not be perfect without visiting the home of the father of modern Basque cuisine, Juan Mari Arzak in his restaurant Arzak.
