Days of outdoor adventure, playing golf or simply relaxing on the best beaches and spas are some of the activities that you can do in Puerto Vallarta (Mexico). You cannot stop taking a walk through the downtown area where you will find magnificent shops and restaurants where you can taste the best cuisine in the area. Crossing the pedestrian bridge closest to the bay, you will reach Los Muertos beach. You can watch the fishermen on the small pier or walk south to the rocky coves of Conchas Chinas beach.

If what you want is to explore the different beaches in the area, grab your sunscreen and head north . After an hour’s drive, you will arrive at Rincón de Guayabitos beach, in Jaltemba Bay. On the way back south, make a stop in the small town of San Francisco, also known as San Pancho . In the area you can rent a "water taxi" that will take you to El Islot and where with luck you will be able to spot the whales of the place.

For an unforgettable experience, hire an expedition on horseback. Rancho Charro and Rancho Ojo de Agua have full-day excursions, which include visits to the old silver mining towns of Mascota and San Sebastián .

Puerto Vallarta is one of the best destinations if you want to practice golf. At the southern end of the Costalegre and Tamarindo you can take courses and then relax in one of its wonderful spas. Back in the city you will not find many museums but you cannot miss its small Archaeological Museum (closed on Sundays).
