Seville is the capital of Andalusia . Located in the southwest of Spain , it is only 20 meters above sea level and has more than 700,000 inhabitants , which makes it the fourth city in the country in terms of population. Bathed by the Guadalquivir river , it is a very touristy city thanks to its great cultural, architectural and gastronomic attractions.
The Giralda
Its neighborhoods emanate a very unique spirit. The most prominent are Triana, La Macarena, Santa Cruz, Los Remedios, Heliópolis and Nervión. Among them, you can enjoy seeing La Giralda, the Cathedral, the Alcázar and the Archivo de Indias , all of them declared a World Heritage Site by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in 1987.

The city enjoys a Mediterranean climate . The average annual temperature is 18 ºC, which makes it one of the hottest in Europe. Winters are very pleasant , while summers turn into a real nightmare. The mercury gets to mark summer after summer more than 40 ºC.
Rainfall is concentrated between October and April, with December being the month with the most rainfall. It is very rare to see snow in the city.

Seville can boast of good public transport . It has a large road transport network (motorway, highway), more than 40 bus, coach, railway, metro, tram, airport and port lines. Prices are those that predominate in the rest of the peninsula.
