Cala Mitjana

Cala Mitjana is a marvel. It is a virgin cove located near Ferreries, taking the Cala Galdana detour. It has parking and the path is indicated. Its sands are white and fine, but the sea is open and it is not recommended when there is a south wind.

There is a path on the main road, between Mercadal and Ferreries, which goes up to a few kilometers from the beach. Then there is a half-hour walk through unshaded terrain. The sand is golden and the water completely transparent, in fact it is the most protected area of ​​the Menorca marine reserve. Also, if you want to clean your skin, you can find clay to smear yourself with mud, a natural treatment that is worth trying.
