Travel to Guam

Guam is the most populous island in Micronesia. Although it may not seem like it, it is a very cosmopolitan place where you can spend a dream vacation. American accents are present everywhere (it is an unincorporated US territory but where you will see a lot of American flags) so you won’t have much trouble communicating. Their original language , Chamorro, is not spoken as much as before.

The island is currently in the process of reorganization. The authorities in charge of tourism in the area have confirmed that due to the American influence they will focus on the development of some tourist attractions, such as a theme park. But if you finally decide to spend a few days in the area, you should try to know its history and local customs. The island, although as we mentioned, is the largest in Micronesia , it is small enough to be explored in one or two days.

A must do visit to the south area. In this part, you will find beautiful little towns, crystal clear beaches and impressive waterfalls. The northern area is much more "colonized" due to the military presence of the Americans, but you can still visit Ritidian Point. This part of the coast can be defined as sublime mainly due to its impressive beaches full of palm trees and soft golden sand.

The locals will accept you as one of them and will welcome you in a warm and friendly way. The inhabitants of the island are also worrying about the tourist reorganization of it.
