These days, the elegant bathrooms at the Le Meurice hotel in Paris have been classified as the best in all of Europe. This "title" has been awarded to the hotel, after a vote by different experts from the world of hospitality. Apparently, they had to vote the facilities of a total of eight hotels .
This result shows that the French know very well how to provide comfort to their guests, including in the bathroom. The recognition was made public last week at the well-known Villegiature Awards , which year after year are dedicated to awarding these mentions to the best hotel facilities in Europe. Aspects as varied as terraces, bathrooms and even their Web pages are voted on.
Philippe Starck was the designer of the Le Meurice bathrooms, the culales outnumbered other well-known hotels such as: the Raphael hotel in Paris, Le Palais Stephanie in Cannes, La Mas Candille in Mougins, and Muse in Ramatuelle (all in France ), I also didn’t miss the Luna Baglioni in Venice, Italy. In other categories, Fairmont Monte Carlo’s Spa Willow Stream in Monaco was considered the best hotel spa, while Milan’s Prince of Savoia won the award for best hotel restaurant.
Starwood’s W Hotel Barcelona was awarded the award for the hotel with the best architecture and the Sofitel Amsterdam The Grand won the award for the best interior design. These interiors were made by Sybille de Margerie , with the help of students from the renowned Eindhoven Academy of Design.
