Hollókő
First, we talk about Hollókő, a town on the list of World Heritage of UNESCO. Originally from the 13th century, the town is home to one of the best-preserved castles in the country. Visegrád
Another town worth visiting is Visegrád, which is located on the right bank of the Danube River, north of Budapest. It is known for housing the ruins of the summer palace of King Matías Corvino, the first great civil building in the Italian Romanesque style outside of this country, as well as for its medieval citadel.
Szentendre
Very close to Budapest we can find Szentendre, a town located on the banks of the Danube that surprises with its cobbled streets, its pastel-colored houses, its souvenir shops and its walks along the river.
