When you’re done playing, you can take a walk to the San Jose Performing Arts Center , commonly known as "the giant pumpkin." Depending on the season, you can enjoy a morning session of musicals or ballet. There are plenty of restaurants near the area. Then you can go to the Children’s Discovery Museum where fun is guaranteed for the youngest.
Further down this street is the Plaza de César Chávez , where you will always find something that will make you stop for a while. Depending on the day and season, there are farmers markets, live music, craft markets, different celebration parties, etc. Across the square is the Tech Museum of Innovation. A couple of streets down you will find the San Jose Museum of Art .
