Among the many destinations that you can find in this Autonomous Community is Sanxenxo , one of the most touristic and beautiful.

In the Pontevedra estuary you can find beaches such as Silgar, Areas, Canelas or Portonovo . The latter belongs to one of the municipalities with the longest fishing tradition in the entire area and has a very important port.

In this area there are also many of the most beautiful beaches of the entire Galician coastline and that are distributed throughout the Atlantic coast, such as Paxariñas beach, Maxor beach, Foxos, Espiñeira, Bascuasa or A Lanzada Beach , a one of the most famous and spectacular in Galicia. The entire area of the Rías Baixas lives from tourism, in addition to the fact that the own products that are obtained both in the sea and in the countryside are of the highest quality, so wherever you go to eat you will find delicious dishes.

The town that stands out the most is Sanxenxo, which is the one with the most beaches and which even has a "Tourist Day" , which is celebrated every August 25 and in which all visitors can taste all kinds of seafood, learn typical dances or participate in a sports competition. 10 kilometers from Sanxenxo is the hermitage of Nosa Señora de Lanzada , where a pilgrimage takes place on the last Sunday in August and is attended by women from all over Galicia.
