Beaches of Gandía

Beaches-of-Gandía
A couple of days ago I was telling you about Gandía, a city in the Valencia Community that is in the southwest of Valencia and which you can get to by car, bus, boat, train or plane (the closest airports are Valencia and Alicante) . Gandía is the tourist center of the Costa Blanca and has spectacular beaches ideal for all types of tourism as it receives both Spanish and foreign visitors.

There are two beaches in Gandía, so I’ll leave you all the information so you know what you can find on them. Take note:

Playa de Gandía or Norte de Gandía : It is 3,000 meters long and is an urban beach, with fine golden sand and very calm waters. There you can enjoy a beautiful promenade and lots of vegetation. Occupancy is usually high and it has services such as parking, buses, trains (Grao de Gandía station is very close), tourist office, showers, toilets, umbrellas, hammocks or rental of nautical equipment. It is next to the Gandía Nautical Club and on the beach you can also practice scuba diving.

Playa de l’Ahuir : It has an extension of almost 1,800 meters and is an isolated beach, ideal if you want privacy since its occupation is low. It is a virgin beach with a lot of vegetation, golden sand and you can do nudism. There are many services, such as showers, toilets, parking, buses or walkways through the sand. It is 3 kilometers from the Gandía Nautical Club.

In the nearby towns you also have many beaches, although if you are going to be in Gandía I recommend one of these two since they have everything you may need as they are both totally different.
