Tarifa , in Cádiz, is one of the favorite destinations for many people who are looking for quality beaches and, especially, where they can windsurf. And it is that for something they call it the ‘capital of the wind’. Its beaches are on the Mediterranean side and it is advisable to use wave boards for strong winds and, if you practice kitesurfing, do it when the wind is lightest. Bolonia Beach : It is the most famous and probably the best. It has an area of ​​about 4 kilometers, fine golden sand, dunes and you can do nudism. Its waves are strong and so is the wind, the waters are very crystal clear and it has 2 beach bars. There is also the Natural Monument of the Dune of Bolonia , a wonder of nature where not only is the beach but you can also see the Roman ruins of Baelo Claudia.

Playa de los Lances : It belongs to the Los Lances Natural Park, measures 7,700 kilometers and has fine, golden sand. It is surrounded by greenery and has few services, but it is ideal for windsurfing, surfing and other water sports.

Punta Paloma Beach : It is a small beach that is close to the center of the city, has fine golden sand and has a lot of services such as kiosks, parking, showers, umbrellas, hammocks or rental of nautical equipment.

Valdevaqueros Beach : It measures 5,500 meters and has many dunes of fine golden sand. The wind is strong and so are the waves, so it is ideal for windsurfing or fly-surfing. It has services such as showers, umbrellas, hammocks, parking, bus, nautical rentals or kiosks.

Playa Chica : It is a charming little beach that is close to the center, it has fine golden sand and totally crystalline water. It has all kinds of services and thanks to the wind it is also very good for windsurfing and other water sports.
