Malmedy is a beautiful Belgian city that is located at the confluence of the Warche and Warchenne rivers. It has many places of interest such as the Casa Villers , the Chapel of the Sick, the Natural Park of the Hautes Fagnes or the Casa Cavens, although if you have to choose a place that stands out above all the others that would undoubtedly be the Cathedral. which is one of the emblems of the city and the most visited. Built at the end of the 18th century, it was not considered a Cathedral until the 20th century, so it is not as old as the rest of the historic churches.
Malmedy Cathedral is specially dedicated to Saint Peter, Saint Paul and Saint Quirin and it is a spectacular building that has two large towers and a beautiful white marble interior, which is also present in the Altar of the Virgin . It also has a very nice old bell tower, the oldest in the city, and it has a bell that weighs about 900 kilos and another three smaller ones that make a great set.
