In Brazil they are about to start a very ambitious tourism project. Called Ciudad Nova Atlántida , it will have 13 5-star hotels, 6 condominiums, 14 resorts, a 12-kilometer beach and 3 golf courses. Almost nothing.
This large tourist complex will be located in the city of Itapipoca , near Fortaleza , in the northeast of the country. Nothing more and nothing less than 11 million square meters that will become a money-making machine in a few years.
Although an NGO that fights for the interests of the indigenous people opposed the project, it seems that the courts are going to agree with this giant of Brazilian tourism.
