The Agua Azul Waterfalls in Mexico

The Agua Azul Waterfalls , which are in the state of Chiapas, in Mexico , are one of the most spectacular natural places that I have seen in person in my entire life. A true natural wonder that is in the municipality of Tumbalá and that is located in an area that was known by the Indians as "Las Montañas de Agua". A paradisiacal landscape that is worth seeing at least once in your life.

These spectacular waterfalls are of turquoise water , of that almost crystalline water that makes many beaches become paradisiacal places. They have their origin in a descent of more than a thousand meters of several rivers, which were giving shape to the waterfalls that there are today. The beautiful color of the water is due to the fact that the rocks through which it passes are bathed by various sediments, which causes various colors to filter when the light reflects on the water.
