Istanbul is one of the two Turkish capitals , specifically it is the capital of the European part of the country, as well as being the second largest city. Today it is one of the most beautiful and populated cities in Europe, so it is the ideal destination for a getaway at any time of year.

Whenever we make a trip we try to inform ourselves of many things so that everything at the destination is comfortable, practical and no problem arises. Today I would like to talk to you about shopping in Istanbul , because it has excellent places for it and you have a great variety of things that you can find in the city.

The most spectacular and varied place for shopping is The Grand Bazaar , which is made up of 60 streets that bring together some 4,000 stores and which forms the largest market in the city, so if you go spend a lot of time as it is worth seeing everything . You can find shops of all kinds, restaurants, bars, cafes and there are even several workshops on different themes.

Inside this incredible bazaar there are also 18 fountains, 12 warehouses, 12 small mosques and up to 40 hotels that are usually the places where all the merchants stay. On the main street there are a lot of jewelry , diamond and gold stores in all kinds of articles, something that is what most attracts the attention of all visitors so if you want to buy jewelry this is the ideal place.

The Grand Bazaar in Istanbul is open every day except Sundays and holidays and its hours are from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., so you have a wide margin of visit although I recommend that you go as soon as possible to see everything on the same day to dedicate the rest to tourism.
