It is a museum that receives many visitors every day and is obviously related to sex. There you will also discover all kinds of accessories and sex toys for both men and women, as well as very curious stories and figures that have to do with this topic.
In the Museum of Sex of New York there is no place for censorship and it is shown in detail how sexual relations have evolved throughout history. It was inaugurated in 2002 and there are also several exhibitions and virtual installations that offer an open view of the sexual world, a subject that is still taboo in some cultures today. It is on Fifth Avenue and it also has a store where you can buy all kinds of products, whether decorative or for use and enjoyment, of course, sexual.
Currently there are about 15,000 exhibits including photographs, works of art, costumes, inventions, clothing, etc., which are classified into 3 main categories: documentation, media library and objects. Only people over 18 can enter this museum and the entrance costs $ 17.50, although for students and the elderly it costs $ 15.25 (in both cases, fees would have to be added).
As for the schedules , they are different depending on the day of the week. From Sunday to Thursday it opens from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. It closes its doors only on Christmas Day and Thanksgiving.
