Today at Vuela Viajes we move to this beautiful autonomous community of Spain to discover some of its best beaches. Of course, we have to apologize in advance for all those who, even deserving it, have not entered our list. Would you like to join us?
Bolonia Beach, Cádiz
First of all, we want to talk about Bolonia Beach, considered by many to be one of the best beaches in Spain. It is located in the municipality of Tarifa, Cádiz, and offers a virgin area of white sand ideal for windsurfers. It is important to bear in mind that it is a nude beach.
Zahara de los Atunes beach, Cádiz
From Cádiz we also want to highlight the Zahara de los Atunes beach, where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. This population belonging to the municipality of Barbate offers more than 8 kilometers of fine golden sand and clean and fresh waters.
Valdevaqueros beach, Cádiz
Another sandy area in Cádiz that we want to highlight is Valdevaqueros, which is located in the municipality of Cádiz. It is a large, rustic beach with clean waters. In this place it is very common to practice windsurfing and kitesurfing.
Beach of the Dead, Almería
From Cádiz we moved to Almería, a beautiful province that hides such spectacular sandy areas as Playa de los Muertos, located in the municipality of Carboneras. With more than a kilometer in length, the beach offers the bluest and most crystalline water in the entire area.
Mónsul Beach, Almería
In the municipality of Níjar, also in Almería, we find the Mónsul cove beach, a beautiful place with clear waters and rock formations of volcanic origin where scenes from important films have been shot, such as "The endless story" or " Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade ”.
Cala de Enmedio, Almería
In Almería we also want to highlight the Cala de Enmedio which, like the previous two, is located in the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park, in the municipality of Níjar. It is a virgin beach with fine golden sand, excellent conditions for swimming and beautiful views.
Islantilla Beach, Huelva
Of course, in Huelva it is also possible to find beautiful beaches. One of them is Islantilla, which is located between the municipalities of Lepe and Isla Cristina. Here you will find all kinds of services , including sailing schools.
Matalascañas Beach, Huelva
In the municipality of Almonte, Huelva, we find the Matalascañas beach, which offers fine-grained white sands and hotel facilities and leisure areas, although it is true that it also houses semi-virgin areas.
Maro beach, Malaga
The Maro beach, which is located in Nerja, Malaga, could not be missing from the list. Easily accessible, this sandy area is surrounded by cliffs and offers a beautiful setting of coarse sand and stones. It is important to bear in mind that its access is easy and that it is one of the best places in Andalusia for diving and snorkelling .
Herradura beach, Granada
Finally, we want to talk about La Herradura beach, which is located in the town of La Herradura, next to the municipality of Almuñécar. It is an urban sandy area protected by Punta de la Mona and Cerro Gordo that offers a family atmosphere and all kinds of services.
