It has 13 beaches with different characteristics and with different services, making it a perfect vacation destination if you like beaches as you will find a great variety. These are the best beaches in Santander :
– Playa del Sardinero 1 : it is, along with the next one I will write about, the most famous. It has an area of 350 meters with fine golden sand, moderate waves and high occupancy. It is an urban beach and it also has a promenade, as well as services such as a tourist office, parking, showers, toilets, umbrellas, hammocks, bars or telephones.
– Playa del Sardinero 2 : it is the largest in the city thanks to its kilometer long, also with moderate waves and golden sand. Its occupation is also high and it also has a promenade. – Playa de la Concha : it has an area of 250 meters with fine golden sand and moderate waves. It has a promenade and services such as buses, parking, tourist office, showers, umbrellas, hammocks, telephones or bars.
– Playa del Camello : it is 200 meters long and has golden sand and moderate waves. Among its services, more or less the same as the previous ones, such as showers, buses, parking, access for the disabled or telephones.
