Spain offers numerous possibilities for sightseeing . And one of them is to take a tour of the various natural parks to enjoy nature and the different landscapes , environments, fauna and flora … The options are varied. But here we propose some of the most attractive or interesting that can be taken into account for this summer.
Canary Islands
The Canary Islands is one of the tourist destinations par excellence. Here we can find the Timanfaya National Park , which is in Lanzarote . It is one of the most particular and surprising for its landscape and for the attractions it has, since it is the only one of a geological nature as it arose as a result of the volcanic eruptions that took place on the island between the years 1720 and 1736 and 1824. .
The curiosities in this park do not end here. It is also the only one that does not have vegetation or landscape . In fact, to many people, it reminds them of the surface of another planet, such as Mars, due to the roughness of the shapes, the different colors it has on its lands and the volcanoes , locating more than 25 in its nearly 5,000 hectares. Galicia
Also very suitable for the summer is the natural park that includes the archipelagos of the CĂes, Ons, Cortejada and Sálvora islands. Castilla la Mancha
One of the best known natural parks is Tablas de Daimiel , which is a unique wetland in the world because it is the last ecosystem called river tables . This park, which is located in Ciudad Real , is produced by the overflow of the Guadiana and CigĂĽela rivers , given the scarcity of slopes, which has contributed to creating a natural space of great beauty.
In this environment you can find various animal species such as grebes, herons, ducks, rabbits, carp, wild boar, foxes or rabbits, among others, which also include rattlesnakes.
Catalonia
Another option within the possibilities of the national parks is that of AigĂĽestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici . This destination is the only one in Catalonia where it is possible to enjoy peaks over 3,000 meters high, apart from rivers, ravines and waterfalls.
