Guayaquil is located on the banks of the Guayas River. This interesting city has witnessed a gradual change, rapidly emerging as the main international tourist destination in South America. A statue of Simón Bolívar on horseback is also a very important part of this curious park. If you are a great art lover, you should pay a visit to Las Peñas , the artistic center of Guayaquil. In the area you will find endless art galleries. Remember that you can buy everything you like by haggling over its price.
