In Vuela Viajes we have talked on several occasions about how spectacular Scotland is, thanks mainly to its natural landscapes. There you will discover cities that may be very different from each other but that retain similar traditions and are very beautiful. It is one of the few countries in which each and every one of its corners is beautiful, so any place you visit will be worth it.
One of the most interesting cities is Sutherland , in which you can find a spectacular contrast between its beaches and mountains. It is not one of the most famous cities but the truth is that I have a friend who was there during a year of studies in another city and she told me that Sutherland was wonderful, so I am here to write about her. A place where there are lakes, valleys, mountains and almost all kinds of natural beauties. Take note of Sutherland’s sights :
Stoer Lighthouse
It is one of the most beautiful places and it is on the Stoer Peninsula , an incredible natural landscape. When you arrive at the lighthouse, you can take a walk of several kilometers to reach the Old Man of Stoer, a place where you have the whole sea before you and some beautiful cliffs.
Eddrachillis Bay
In the vicinity of this bay there are several small islands that are wonderful, and all the views from the bay are spectacular, whether looking at the sea or looking at the mountain.
Oldshoremoe Beach
It is one of the best beaches in the city that not only offers you sea and sand, but there are several leisure places such as restaurants, bars or shops. Eating almost by the sea on this beach is one of the best experiences you can take from Sutherland.
