The architects of the Galactic Suite Space Resort , the same ones who are working on the first luxury hotel in space, think that their first clients will be ready to embark on their galactic journey in 2012 . The multi-million dollar project , which received an anonymous grant worth € 3 billion, is on the right track and requests have multiplied in recent months.
Spending three nights in one of the hotel’s suites will cost about 3 million euros , travel and 8-week training course in the Caribbean included. The lucky ones will be able to see the sunrise 15 times a day and will go around the world every 80 minutes. They will use velcro suits to be able to crawl on the walls without problems.
Xavier Claramunt , former aerospace engineer and CEO of Galactic Suite Ltd, commented that they want to be the pioneers within an industry with great growth potential.
