There are some places in the world that seem to be overshadowed by others of the same characteristics but of greater renown. This is the case of the Iguazu Falls . When we think of cataracts, without having to make a great effort, most of us come to mind a name. Niagara. However, those of Iguazu cost more to remember them. But that does not mean that these falls are one of the most impressive places in the world.

Located in the province of Misiones, in Argentina , its set consists of 275 waterfalls, some of them reaching 80 meters in height. All these jumps form a huge arch about 3 kilometers long. Its name actually means "big water". This arch can be covered either on foot through a set of footbridges installed among the tropical vegetation of the area, or in boats that will take you through the water to the very foot of the waterfalls.

Of all the immensity of this place, the Devil’s Throat stands out for its grandeur, with more than 80 meters high. To access it, it is necessary to take the Train to the Falls and descend at the Garganta del Diablo station, from where a walk begins along a footbridge that runs for more than a kilometer until reaching the large balconies located in front of the gorge just 50 meters away.

An ideal place from which you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view is the Island of San MartĂn . The only way to reach it is by using a special boat service. You will be amazed by its views: the Devil’s Throat, the Window Gorge and the Salto de San MartĂn .
