Havasu Falls in Arizona

I have always liked the falls , and I have not yet had the privilege of being able to visit some, but since I saw Niagara Falls for the first time I was in love with how spectacular they were. That is why I always like to go looking for waterfalls that are in beautiful natural environments to be able to make myself a small guide and thus be able to visit them one day.

Of the many waterfalls that I have found in all these years, there are some that I love, the Havasu Falls , which are in Arizona and are part of an environment that is very close to the Grand Canyon of the Colorado . In an area inhabited by the Havasupai Indians, you can see these spectacular turquoise waterfalls that make an impressive contrast with the reddish and orange colors that are in the area of the Havasu canyons.

The Havasu Falls form natural pools of turquoise water that have that spectacular color thanks to the mineralization of the rocks, being one of the natural paradises that tourists visit the most in the entire area and which is a Nature Reserve. One of the most spectacular things that you find is that the waterfall is not always towards the same side since due to the storms and the large amount of water in the area the course of the river changes seasonally.

It is recommended that you spend 2 days to visit these falls as there is so much to see in the whole environment that it would be a shame not to be able to enjoy it all with the calm and time it deserves. They are in the southern part of the Grand Canyon National Park and the view you get from there is incredible. To get there you can take from Seligman, on Route 66, to Hualapai Hilltop, where you will have to leave the car to start your adventure walking, on a mule or by helicopter.
