Red Sands Beach in Hawaii

If there is a place in the world that at first glance seems like a paradise, it is Hawaii , with truly spectacular beaches and landscapes that are a real pleasure for the eyes. Among the many interesting things that you can find there is Kaihalulu Beach , a local name that translates as Red Sand Beach. It is a small cove that does not have easy access but is definitely worth visiting because it is beautiful.

It is one of the few red sand beaches in the world and is located at the foot of a hill to the south of Hana Bay, on the island of Maui, one of the most popular in the Hawaiian archipelago. The spectacular red color of its sand is due to the fact that the hill that borders the beach is constantly eroding, but it is a totally safe beach. That red color of the sand combined with the perfect turquoise blue of the water makes it a truly amazing landscape.

It has a reef that acts as a barrier and thus protects the bay from the big waves that usually occur in that part of the island, which makes the beach much calmer and perfect for resting and for any bath without worrying about the uneasiness of a large swell. To get there, you have to travel a very narrow path and then climb a steep slope that will finally allow you to see the sea. It can be a somewhat dangerous path but perfect for lovers of hiking, adventure and unique landscapes.

If you are going to visit the island of Maui , without a doubt this beach is totally recommended. If the adventure that you have to go before visiting it is not much for you, in Maui you will find hundreds of beaches that can satisfy your needs. It is the second largest island in Hawaii and in recent years it has experienced significant population growth.
