Two biker routes for Easter

motorcycle on the road
Do you already know what you are going to do at Easter ? If you still don’t have a plan, you should start looking for your destination, since the most religious holidays of the year are just around the corner.

So that you do not get overwhelmed, we have prepared a couple of motorcycle routes that may interest you. One is much longer than the other, but in both you will enjoy the trip to the fullest, traveling kilometers of road through simply spectacular landscapes. And all this without crossing our borders. Take aim!

From Madrid to El Tiemblo

Beauty on two wheels. From the capital to the Avila town of El Tiemblo , a magical place that will help you disconnect for a few days. The landscape is changing, since at first you move between bare granite, but little by little you go through the bushes until you see oak groves, pine forests and the fascinating Valmayor reservoir.

You will move along the Northwest highway (A6) with ease. You will not get bored, since the curves follow one another without you having to fear for your safety. It is a route through lonely roads, the kind that invite reflection and allow you to return to the big city with well-charged batteries.

In El Tiemblo you cannot miss its famous Guisando Bulls , the culminating point of a route of just over 70 kilometers.

From Ciudad Rodrigo to Fermoselle

Ciudad Rodrigo , between Portugal, Salamanca and Extremadura, is the starting point of this 180-kilometer route. After seeing the historic center of the city, the best thing you can do is get on the motorcycle to explore new territories.

Driving on the A-62 first and on the E-80 later you will run into Sancti Spiritus just when you have been 24 kilometers. Abrigo de Camaces, La Fuente de San Esteban, Salamanca … Precious places to discover prehistoric settlements, fortified cities and even the place where Christopher Columbus slept more than 500 years ago.

Fermoselle , the last stop, stands out for its narrow and steep streets. The town’s architecture is fabulous, and you can’t miss the Romanesque façades of the Church of the Assumption.

To all this we must not forget what we always tell you when you are going to take the motorcycle to travel. Do it with good insurance such as Mutua Madrileña , with roadside assistance 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
