What is the route?

The itinerary, which will run until December 23, proposes to experience the spirit of Christmas at the hands of professional guides, part of the Barcelona Tourist Information Office , in the Plaza de Catalunya at 6:00 p.m. every day and can be done in both Spanish and English. After going through the city’s central streets, squares and alleys, it ends at La Rambla, right in front of the Palau de Virreina.


Emblematic places

During the Barcelona Walking Tour Christmas you can visit emblematic spaces such as the fir tree of the Portal del 脕ngel; the Santa Ll煤cia Fair, located on the floor of the Cathedral and which this year reaches its 227th edition; Aviny贸 street, a typically medieval street that inspired Picasso’s painting the young ladies of Aviny贸 street; and Petritxol street, par excellence the street of farms and chocolate.
In addition, during the tour you can learn about the figure and history of the stump, be surprised by the lighting of the city, and discover the tradition of the lottery and the caganer.

Visit Christmas in Barcelona for 10 euros

The tour lasts approximately two hours and costs 10 euros (it is free for children). It also includes a visit to the nativity scene in Pla莽a de Sant Jaume and a nougat tasting.
