PlayStation on cruise ships

coast_coast
Sony Computer Entertainment Italia and Costa Cruises have just signed a contract by which the shipping company’s cruises will include PlayStation consoles among the activities offered on board their ships. Thus, Costa Luminosa and Costa Pacifica will be the first cruise ships to incorporate the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3 in May and June respectively. Subsequently, the offer will be expanded to the rest of the company’s ships.

It should be remembered that this is not the first alliance signed between companies in the video game sector and shipping companies. Some time ago, the Nowregian Cruise Lines company agreed with Nintendo to include the Wii console in its service offering.

PlayStation World will be the exclusive area to play the PlayStation 3. There, customers can be up to date and buy all the products they want in a store enabled for this purpose. In addition, there will be cabins with consoles and touch screens.

To finish completing the offer, we can enjoy PlayStation Nights . This section will take place on the deck, in the open air and with a giant screen that will be made available to all those who want to queue to play while they are watched by the rest of the travelers.
