The best beaches and coves of Sardinia

best beaches sardinia
Although it is true that July has started on the wrong foot (it does not stop raining in much of Spain, which has made us discouraged when planning our holidays), the good temperatures will arrive at any moment, so from Vuela Viajes we encourage you to keep looking for interesting places in which to spend those holidays that you have been waiting for so long.

One of the destinations that we highly recommend is Sardinia , a beautiful Italian island that has almost 2,000 kilometers of coastline, where really wonderful beaches and coves are hidden. Although it took us a lot to decide, today we want to tell you about some of the best. Are you going to miss it?

Cala Goloritzè

Cala Goloritze
The first corner that we want to name in this list of the best beaches in Sardinia is Cala Goloritzè, considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the entire Mediterranean thanks to the spectacular blue of the sea, an effect that is due to the springs that are in this place. But beyond the tonality of its waters, the paradisiacal aspect formed by its white stones mixed with coarse sand stands out. In fact, it has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The only bad thing is that it is a beach with difficult access.

Pink beach

Pink beach
The second place we want to talk about is Playa Rosa, located on Budelli Island, in the Maddalena archipelago. As you may have imagined, it is one of the few in the world that can boast of having pink sand. And all thanks to the coral fragments in its sand. As in the previous cove, the worst thing is its access, very limited. In fact, it can only be reached by sightseeing tour.

Pevero Beach

Pevero Beach
This beautiful beach, in Porto Cervo, is ideal for those who, in addition to looking for paradisiacal landscapes, want a good nightlife. And it is that this place is the nerve center of the party on the Costa Smeralda. Of course, the beach is spectacular, with emerald water that you will not be able to refuse.

La Pelosa

La Pelosa
We could not forget La Pelosa beach, which has fine white sand, as well as spectacular blue waters. And, to top it off, in the background we can contemplate the Torre de la Pelosa. The result is a truly enchanting landscape. Of course, we warn you that the sand is the kind that sticks even if you are not wet and that it fills up very soon.

Porto Zafferano

Porto Zafferano
We also want to tell you about Porto Zafferano beach, located in Capo Teulada. The most curious thing about this place is that, as we understand it, for 10 months a year it is inaccessible, since it is reserved for the NATO army. It is a long beach with white sand and crystal clear waters. In short, one of the most beautiful spots in all of Sardinia.

Cala Mariolu

Cala Mariolu
Finally, we want to introduce you to Cala Mariolu. Located in Brunei, a town located in Punta Ispuligi, it is a beautiful beach full of white and pink sand rocks that has a crystalline sea. In addition, it is the ideal place to practice caving , since there are a lot of sea caves that are worth visiting. One of the negative aspects of the place is that it can be a little difficult to walk on the sand because of the small rocks. Although it can be reached on foot, the best way to access the beach is by boat.
