Contrast of landscapes

But don’t think that Monte Perdido is the only thing that surprises you about this magical place. For us it is even more amazing to observe the great contrasts in the landscape. And it is that while in the higher areas we find a landscape similar to that of the karst deserts, since the water of the rain and the thaw seeps under the water, in the valleys there is exuberant vegetation. This is because the water is always present, even jumping in waterfalls and ravines. In addition, you can find snow, glaciers, beech and fir forests, waterfalls at the bottom of the valleys … In short, mountain scenery that has become the destination of thousands of hikers.
