Tapas in Madrid

De-tapas-por-Madrid
There is no doubt that Spanish gastronomy is very particular and falls in love with anyone who tries it. In this sense, tapas are very popular in our country and we all love going out for tapas from time to time instead of just eating one dish since that way we will eat a little of everything.

Today I would like to recommend you a few places to go for tapas in Madrid , so that you are in the area where you are, you can taste the most typical of the city for very little money. Take note:

Huertas-Plaza Mayor-Sol area : Bars such as “La trout” are recommended here (smoked, fried fish, aubergines and fried artichokes are their specialty), “Miau” (their delicious lamb gizzards with garlic sprouts), “Taberna de La Dolores ”(varied canapés) or“ Casa Lucio ”(its famous starry eggs).

Chamberí-Cuatro Caminos-Tetuán Zone : Head over to “Alborán” (fried fish or seafood stews), “Combarro” (Galician specialties), “El doble” (good seafood and delicious beer) or “Sagaretxe (Basque cider house with everything type of tapas).

Barrio de Salamanca : Here you have countless places among which stand out "Alkalde" (classic caps of peppers, croquettes or Iberian), "El olivar de Ayala" (Andalusian and Basque cuisine), "Estay" (Basque cuisine), " Gitanillos ”(canapés and Iberian products) or“ Hevia ”(smoked and sausage toasts).

Other areas : In the rest of the city you can find such interesting places as “El lateral” (in La Castellana and with blood sausage from Burgos, Padrón peppers and other specialties from various communities), “Cumbres” (in c / Alberto Alcocer, is an Andalusian tavern), Mesón Cinco Jotas (c / Padre Damián, probably the best serrano ham in the city) or “El bocaíto” (on c / Libertad and that serves the typical Malaga tapas).

If you are going to be in Madrid do not miss the opportunity and dedicate a day or several to go for tapas, it makes me salivate just writing it.
